Upper Room Club

UPDATE:
Once again in September, we'll enjoy the hospitality of the Newark Nook, a little family-owned neighborhood bar located at 6443 N. Newark Ave. They have a private back yard we can use. Thank you to "Regulars" Cora and Gary for finding this location! They'll bring some lawn chairs...but if you have one handy, please bring it.

If the weather isn't agreeable, we can meet inside, in a room in the back of the bar. Police Chaplains Ministry will take care of the cost of the pizza. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.

Our "Upper Room Club" is hosted regularly at Pizano's Pizza & Pasta, 2106 S Indiana Ave, Chicago, IL 60616 in the south loop.

At these gatherings, we meet for two hours (6:30-8:30 p.m.) over food and drink to discuss and explore topics like prayer, Church traditions, ethics/morals, current events, and other topics of interest to participants.

This is done in a most laid-back, comfortable setting. There are no theological or biblical experts among us...just folks from the law enforcement community who wish to pray together and learn more about their faith.

Since Pizano's availability (and local parking) revolves around events at Wintrust Arena (across the street), we have a floating schedule. Please watch your email inbox for upcoming gatherings.

If you are not on the Upper Room Club email list, you can join by providing your email address >>HERE<<.

Pizano's proprietor, Rudy Malnati, generously gives us the room AND food/drink. So come hungry and thirsty. Our host, Rudy Malnati, feeds us well. We just ask you each to bring $10 cash to tip for our server. Please remember his kindness when deciding where to dine with your family!

We hope to see you at a future Upper Room Club gathering...and we sincerely thank Pizano's for their incredible generosity!

Finally, in gratitude for their incredible generosity, please continue to keep Rudy, his family, and all the Pizano's staff in your prayers.
